Mindful Climbing
Chicago Climbing Therapy is now part of Conscious Crux Therapy
Climbing combines mindfulness (being in the present moment) and movement - two evidence based treatments for anxiety and depression. I work with novice and veteran climbers and equip them with the tools they need to up their mental game, both on and off the climbing wall.
We will work through mental blocks getting in the way of climbing performance and utilize bouldering as a therapeutic tool to support challenges with anxiety, self esteem, or general wellbeing. Together, we will target your unique needs and goals – whether you want to unlock the next climbing grade, strengthen your mind-body connection, expand distress tolerance, or improve your interpersonal relationships.
